Alas is a creation of American Eric Rutana, known for his work with Ripping Corpse, Morbid Angel and Hate Eternal, and about seven years worked on a demo-records with various musicians, till the moment when a structure of Alas was formed: Eric Rutan – guitar, Martin Hornbaher-Ashtner – a vocal, Scott Hornick – bass, Howard Davis – drums. The demo-disk have been sold in quantity of 2500 copies.
